The quality is similar, but a wired installation is usually cheaper than a wireless IP camera installation. A wired installation is therefore more interesting if the required cables were already provided during the construction or renovation of the areas desired to be equipped.

Video surveillance equipment is usually sold as a package. Depending on your wishes, you can choose for the combination of one or more camera (s) + recorder + monitor. For an entry-level kit which includes a camera, a recorder and a control screen, the price is around € 450. Prices then fluctuate depending on the number of cameras you wish to acquire and the level of quality of the recordings.
